What's included:
- One high-limit thermostat (hi-limit switch).
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before inspecting or replacing; risk of shock or injury if energized.
- Note and label wire locations or take a photo before removal for correct reassembly.
- Verify part compatibility with your model before installing; confirm continuity after installation.

Older maytag oven would not heat up past 250 degrees John T. • American Fork , UT • March 17, 2020
The same thing happened about two years ago and when I took off the back cover, the high limit switch was melted and crumbling, so I replaced it and it's worked fine until a couple of weeks ago. We smelled a stinky electrical burning smell a couple of times and then it stopped heating past 250 degrees. Turns out the high limit switch was crumbling again. This time I replaced both the high limit switch and the bottom element and it heats up again like it should to any temperature. One of the...

Burner on my jen air pro range rusted out Frank M. • Providence , RI • November 15, 2014
After many years of excellent service the burner I use most often on the top of my JenAir range rusted through. After trying to remove the burner, which was firmly rusted into place, I decided to replace the cooktop pan, both burners and igniters. It was an easy repair to swap out the new parts for the old, and the only tool necessary was a #2 phillips screw driver. The only difficulty was that although the cooktop pan appears symmetrical, the screw hole pattern on each side is different. I did...

Jenn air oven door failed to close properly Dick S. • Camano Island , WA • December 18, 2015
Unfortunately, despite some dedicated efforts on the part Audrey Patrick and others, the problem was not solved. I replaced the door hinges, liner and gasket, but none of these solved what I believe is a flawed design. Thankfully, AppliancePartsPros generous return policy allowed me to pursue the repair without risking the cost of failure. My thanks to the company and to all those who were involved.

Burned out oven bake element Richard S. • Camano Island , WA • May 19, 2015
Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new. Reverse the past few steps and re-attach the wires and screw. Simple as that. I also chose to replace the Broiler Element as a...
