I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. After doing some research I discovered this was not uncommon, and the fix usually involved replacing the hinges and/or the hinge receptacles. It didn't look like a difficult fix so I ordered four new hinges and four new receptacles, which arrived quickly. I found a video on YouTube that showed how to replace the hinges and it... Read more

Oven won't heat or ignite? This igniter kit solves slow heating and ignition failure in gas ovens. Moderate DIY repair in 30-60 minutes.
Followed linked video instructions and replaced with new flat style Oven Igniter Kit. Some repair info background, while out shopping for a replacement oven ($1000 plus) a terrific salesman listened to the issue with my current oven and recalled his same issue and solution. I thanked him for his time and recommendation. I went home and searched "oven Ignitor" where I was led to this website. The video showed the same exact flat oven igniter and how easy it would be to replace it. I immediately... Read more
Oven not heating properly or showing F3 error? The temperature sensor likely failed. Simple DIY fix—unplug, remove 2 screws, replace sensor.
Online videos made this seem an easy fix. I unplugged the oven and removed the rear panel, then found where the temp sensor entered the oven. I unplugged the sensor's electric connector. Unlike the videos, this sensor screwed in from the inside of the oven, so I had to remove the 2 screws inside the oven which hold the sensor in place. Then I pulled the sensor out, careful not to tear the insulation with the wires and connector. Then I just pushed the new connector through the same hole and... Read more

Fastening screw for securing components inside appliances. Replaces lost, stripped, or damaged screws during repairs or part installations.
Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair. Read more

I am a 78year old woman and 40 years ago I replaced the belt on a dryer but could not even consider such a feat today. I ordered the parts from you on line and also found the video that you very nicely have attached to the site and I saved this under my favorites. The baffles arrived within 3 days and due to my age was unaware that dryers now come in two sizes and the ones I ordered were for the smaller but same model. I worked with a very nice customer service agent on line who got me the... Read more

Pull out the oven to gain access to the back of the range. Locate the upper back panel and remove screws to expose the back of the control board. Pop out the old control board and take note of any wires that are connected. Unplug the wires from the old control board, and resecure them into the new part. After researching on line what the error code meant I ordered a new electronic control board and oven sensor. It is important to make sure you have all the details of your model number when looking for a part. The oven technician looked at our oven said the replacement parts were no longer being made. I went on line and got the same answer until I saw my model number and a 13 after it. I clicked on the link and the control panel was exactly the same as mine. With a flashlight I was able to look...
