The Drum Support Bearing is an OEM part for GE dryers. This part allows the smooth rotation of the dryer drum. This small yet crucial component plays a pivotal role in the dryer's operation, supporting the back of the drum as it turns, and ensuring that clothes are dried evenly and efficiently.

This upper drum felt is the replacement seal that cushions and guides the dryer drum for quieter operation and smoother rotation. It helps protect the drum edge and prevents clothes from catching where the drum meets the front bulkhead. What it does:
What's included: One upper drum felt seal Install notes:
Replaced rear bushing and used a synthetic grease rated at 600F. New upper felt to better center the drum and new belt. There is a small ball bearing and tin plate that will fall out of the rear of the dryer onto the floor when you remove the two bushing screws. Helps to have someone back there to catch them, and also when you put it back together. You cant reach around and do it yourself, your arms aren't long enough Read more
I removed the damaged felt strips and all adhesive residue from the dryer door face. Then I installed the new felt strips. The plastic glides snapped into place easily on the drum. Reinstalling the door was a simple operation, and the drum fit snugly on the new felt gaskets. The dryer works great now, runs quietly, and the entire repair cost much less than a service call or purchasing a new dryer. Read more
This is a heating element for dryers. This is the component that creates the dryer's heat. It is essential for the drying process. When the heating element stops working on a dryer, it will not produce heat. It may also produce heat, but just not enough heat. This can make the drying cycle take longer to complete. However, replacing this part is a simple task. Disconnect the power before installing this part. Wear gloves during the replacement process for safety. If the dryer is heating at all, make sure to give it plenty of time to cool down before trying to replace it. This component is sourced straight from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This heating element with housing is compatible with dryers that are manufactured by the General Electric and Hotpoint brands. This part is made out of high-quality materials and is a durable replacement part.

The knobs arrived and at first they did not fit. I then looked at the knob extension and realized the inserts were left inside. I pulled those out and the new knobs went in so fast and easy. The price was $20.00 less per knob compared to other places I had looked. I am very pleased and they arrived almost overnight. Read more

Includes blower wheel, housing and cover. Not available seperate.
The problem turned out to be a loose blower fan rattling around inside the blower housing as the fan blade turned. The fan blade had partially separated from its center located silver bushing that screws onto the motor shaft. There was no way to reseat the fan onto the bushing - the opening in the fan blade was chewed up. And there was no way to get the bushing itself off the motor shaft with the fan blade sitting loosely on it. Removal required: 1) breaking the central part of the fan... Read more
