After replacing thermal fuse once and having it fail a second time, I had to dig a little deeper to uncover the problem. I checked for blockage in the vent but everything was clear. I did, however, find that the drum had some up and down play in it. After closer inspection, I could see that the front drum seal was actually worn to the point that I could see a gap between the seal and the drum. This is an authentic OEM drum support roller sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in clothes dryers. During the drying cycle, the drum turns and tosses the clothes around to distribute heat. This drum support roller holds the drum in place as it rotates. Over time, the heat from the dryer can lead to the roller becoming worn. If the dryer is making squealing sounds or thumping when operating, the support roller is worn out and should be replaced. Before replacing the drum support roller, make sure the power is disconnected from the dryer. Remove the top and front panel of the dryer to reach the drum. The idler pulley and dryer belt are underneath the drum; remove these and then take the drum out of the unit and set it aside. Remove the mounting bracket holding the worn drum support roller. Remove and replace the worn roller. While the dryer is apart, inspect the remaining support rollers. Reverse the steps used and put the dryer back together. Power the dryer and make sure the drum turns. This is a black and white, rubber and metal part that is individually sold. It does not come with assembly hardware. This drum support roller is designed for dryers manufactured by LG, Kenmore, and General Electric.

You just can't beat that kind of service. I installed the parts, fixed a couple wires and my dryer was back in business. Thank you, Appliancepartspros.com Read more

I opened the dryer and found that the blower fan was full of lint. This apparently tripped out the Thermostat so I replaced the Thermo coupler and fuses. Unfortunately after I ordered the kit I found out that the kit comes with one of each of the fuses the two for gas dryer and one for an electric dryer. The gas Dryer required three fuses one with the red dot two with the yellow dots, so I had to order a second kit to get a yellow dot, so I decided to change the thermostat at the same time. All...
