This genuine replacement OEM part is a motor blower assembly for dryers. The motor assembly is the main motor of the dryer that allows the dryer to spin and perform its essential functions. If the dryer is no longer turning on, spinning, or drying properly, it might be time to replace the blower motor. While this might seem like a big job, it's a relatively simple repair. To replace the blower motor assembly on the dryer, start by removing the front panel of the dryer. After removing set off the side to gain access to the back of the dryer. Once located, remove the mounting brackets that attach the motor to the back of the dryer. Replace the old blower motor with the new, and reinstall the panels. This replacement part is sold individually by the manufacturer and is compatible with General Electric, Hotpoint, RCA, and Sears/Kenmore brand appliances.
