A cap handle is a feature on refrigerators that allows the user to operate the device easily. The cap handle is located on the lower portion of the door handle. It is a largely cosmetic item, but it is also an access point if the door handle has to be removed. It covers the screws that hold the handle in place.A visual inspection will determine the condition of a cap handle. The replacement of this component is a quick and straightforward process. If there is an existing cap handle, remove it entirely first. Clean the area where the new cap handle will be placed. Align the part in the proper position and apply pressure. It will snap into place when done correctly. This cap handle is a genuine OEM replacement part. It is sourced directly from the manufacturer. The cap handle is made of durable materials and sold as an individual unit. This cap handle fits on various models of refrigerators. It is compatible with appliances manufactured by General Electric, Hotpoint, and RCA.

We had been keeping the door closed with a wedge, and the fix was very easy and the parts were exactly what was needed. Now the door works like new and we aren't looking at a broken door cap. Very satisfied, especially with... Read more
