I bought a high end dryer made by Samsung. Unfortunately the drum cracked, after some research it seems that it is a design flaw and Samsung doesn't stand behind their product. After searching for the part it seems every retailer wants to rape people over shipping, making a 200 dollar part cost 300 or more once you get it to your house. This is a Samsung dryer top panel. It includes the dryer control panel outer cover. This part fits over the dryer cabinet, providing protection for internal parts. Damage to this part, particularly the control panel, could prevent the dryer from running or make it difficult to operate the appliance.Unplug the dryer before attempting to install this part. Pull the appliance away from any walls and begin by removing any mounting screws holding the top panel in place. There should be some on the back of the appliance and behind the dryer door. Once the mounting hardware is removed, remove the back panel and disconnect any components secured to the control panel portion. With everything removed, the old top can be lifted and set aside and the new one carefully slid into place. Staff very helpful ,,,,,,, while I did find a broken heater. Cleaning the dryer with compressed air fixed the issue. Moisture Sensor Dryer Thermistor do not like a covering of Dust no electrical likes a layer of dust when its trying to sense. This condition was hard to find anything on internet which is why I'm commenting. Slow count down was due to Dual Dryer Elements and one was broken. Order replacement glass door. Took doors apart and slip it on. It took long because I placed the latched piece in the wrong position. Otherwise it should just be 15 minute fix. Read more
