A temperature sensor assembly that monitors internal temperatures and sends readings to the appliance control so the unit can maintain proper heating or cooling. Replacing a failed sensor restores accurate temperature regulation and consistent performance. What it does
The Magnetron Thermal Cut Off is an OEM part for GE microwave ovens. It is a safety component that protects the magnetron tube from overheating.
Symptoms of a bad magnetron thermal cut off include:
Causes can be wearing out of the component over many heating and cooling cycles.
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore microwave models.
Protective cover that shields the appliance's management/control assembly and internal wiring from dust, debris, and accidental contact. Helps keep controls insulated and reduces the chance of damage to internal components during normal use. What it does:
This safety cover protects internal wiring and components by enclosing delicate parts and helping prevent accidental contact. It restores a safe barrier and helps avoid shorting or debris buildup in the affected area. What it does
A small plastic retainer that secures the appliance control board in its housing to prevent movement and intermittent connections. Keeps the control board seated for reliable operation and reduces rattle or contact issues. What it does
This assembly fuse restores overcurrent/thermal protection to the appliance's electrical circuit, helping stop power loss and intermittent operation. Replace a failed fuse to return reliable power path protection and safe operation. What it does:
This magnetron assembly produces the microwave energy used to heat food and includes a built-in thermal cutoff for overheating protection. Replacing a failed magnetron restores heating performance and safe operation in microwave ovens. What it does:
Changed the internal fuse and the thermal fuses but still nothing. Also changed upper door switch still nothing. Went on line but could not find anything that matched my symptoms. Got some advice from one of those web sites. I needed to take it to a professional. It seemed to me one of the major components had failed so II went for the magntron. Now I had power everthing worked except the micro wave its self. Researched on line and came up with the lower door switch which I already had same as... Read more
