I followed the instructional video on your website. I removed the access cover and then removed the 4 screws holding the old motor in place. Removed the wiring harness clip. Carefully removed the old motor so as to not allow the shaft to come all the way out and displace the spring at the top of the shaft. (great tip from the video). Installed the new motor. Color: black. It measures about 9 inches wide by 4 inches deep.
Removed: the overflow grill by pressing it to me, lifted up the software and removed the tape holding it in place so it will go higher and even higher by pulling the wire from the refregerator about 1/2 inch, removed the screw the holds both ice and water levers, removed the ice guide, removed the ice door hinge, then the final road block was gone to remove the ice door lever. I found the model number of the fridge, went to Appliance Parts Pros and found the part. I ordered 2 of the parts. Shipping confirmation was sent later that day and I received the parts in less that 1 week. Read more
I troubleshot it and determined it is the motor and housing that were worn out. Waiting on the housing to ship before I replace all the components. When I receive it, all will be an easy fix. I ordered all my parts and all in stock were received on the date as promised. Read more
