The Counterweight is an OEM part for Frigidaire washing machines. It is located at the front of the tub, helping to offset the weight of heavily loaded clothes and maintaining the best drum balance during centrifugal spin cycles. The counterweight is cast and matched to each washer model to distribute weight as efficiently as possible.
