This is the second time of needing repair. I remove the ice bucket, open the crusher, remove the 5 blades. Straighten the blades, reinstall. I then order new blades, The next time it happens I will install the new blades. The reason for the malfunction, (my guess), two ice cubes partially melted stick together and the size and angel the enter crusher cause the problem. I ordered a replacement handle and screws. The process was very easy with the help of one of your "pros" who found all the parts needed and took my order. I didn't realize I was getting both a refrigerator door handle and a freezer door handle in one set, but now we have the freezer handle if we need it. Initially I noticed the crusher drum was cracked and broken so I replaced the drum the retaining nut on the end of the auger and the circlip and washer. it worked fine for a time and then the drum began free wheeling. upon further inspection I discovered the retain nubs on the auger had worn down allowing the blade to slip down the auger body. so I replaced the auger, drum, drive blade, and drive cam.
