Symptoms of a bad grease filter include:

- Excessive smoke or odors during cooking
- Grease buildup on kitchen surfaces
- Visible damage or clogging of the filter
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

The Door Switch is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire wall ovens. It is a component located on the oven door that detects when the door is opened and closed. The door switch works alongside the control board to regulate oven operations based on door position.
Symptoms of a bad door switch can include:
- Oven failing to automatically go into bake or warm modes after door closure
- Interior lights not turning on when the door is opened
- Control buttons/display remaining constantly lit instead of dimming
- Oven not heating or functioning properly in different modes
Causes relate to normal wear over extended use as the door switch mechanism cycles with frequent door openings and closings. Moisture exposure or impacts could also degrade switch performance.
This OEM Frigidaire switch is compatible with Amana, Jenn-Air, KitchenAid, and some Electrolux wall oven models as well.

Frigidaire microwave oven lights and timer work but oven doesn't heat Reese F. • Essex Junction , VT • August 16, 2015
I diagnosed this problem via the web and the advice was spot on. The problem was a failure of the bottom door switch. I used a multimeter to verify that the switched never closed properly. It took me a minute to figure out how to remove the old switch (press a release tab under the switch while simultaneously rotating counter-clockwise). That was about the most difficult part of the repair.

This microwave magnetron generates the energy that heats food in the oven cavity. Replacing a failed magnetron often restores normal heating.
- Produces microwave energy to heat food inside the cavity
- Typical failure symptom: microwave runs but does not heat
- Can cause loud humming or buzzing during operation
- May trip a breaker or blow a fuse at the start of a cook cycle
What's included: One magnetron assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; for built-in/OTR units, switch off the circuit breaker.
- The high-voltage capacitor can retain a dangerous charge—discharge it using the proper service procedure.
- Handle the ceramic antenna/insulator carefully and avoid overtightening mounting screws.
- Reinstall airflow shrouds/ducts and transfer any reusable brackets or thermal devices from the original part as required.

Loud noise and no heat John B. • Watkinsville , GA • June 10, 2014
This was a total novice job which will be apparent: Managed not to kill myself getting the microwave off the wall over the stove. disassembled the housing and watched youtube videos on discharging the capacitor (there has got to be an easier way than trying to cause an explosion). Fortunately it had difused and no sparks touching the terminals. Removed the diode and capacitor and checked both with non-digital voltmeter. Both appeared dead but it is possible the capacitor was okay since you...

The handle to my microwave was broken off David M. • Auburn , MA • May 09, 2018
I ordered a replacement handle from Appliance Parts Pro.com and installed it after watching the video at their site for a similar model. The video told of the trick on removing the door surround that allowed me to access the handle screws. I purchased new handle screws at the same time I bought the new handle. The new handle and screws were a bit different than the original but fit perfectly. Hopefully it will be more durable than the original handle.
