The Drive Belt is an OEM part for Frigidaire washing machines. This part transfers the rotational force from the motor to the drum, enabling the tumbling action during wash cycles.
Causes of a bad Drive Belt include wear and tear over time, exposure to excessive heat or moisture, or physical damage from improper installation or foreign objects.
Symptoms of a faulty Drive Belt include:
- Loud squeaking or grinding noises during the wash cycle
- The drum not spinning or rotating properly
- Slipping or failure to agitate during wash cycles
- Excessive vibrations or shaking from the washer
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.

No error codes; just lots of noise and movement James S. • Winchester , TN • April 29, 2023
After a few days of our 16 YO Frigidaire Affinity front-loading washer (model ATF7000EG0) dancing around the room bellowing like an elephant in musth, I decided to fix it. Well, technically, my wife decided I would fix it. I postulated that the OEM tub suspension system was rapidly deteriorating, so I ordered the shock absorber kit (5304485917), three nylon pins (131268300), two suspension springs (134362800), and a new drive belt (134051003) for good measure. These parts all arrived in...

Wouldn't spin at first then no activity at all e23 code Levi G. • Wytheville , VA • March 06, 2017
We had a power surge that tripped the washer breaker. It showed an E23 error code so I replaced the main control board (part number AP4362398.) All washer activity back to normal except it still wouldn't spin and still had E23 code. I removed the tub to pump hose (part number AP3837322) to find all sorts of goodies inside such as underwires from bras, a quarter, nickel, penny, and dime stacked perfectly on top of each other inside the filter, and tangled yarn from a rug. Ended up replacing the...

Spider supporting drum was broken James S. • Passumpsic , VT • August 03, 2015
Follow instructions on internet. The only issue was the flat head allen drive screw securing the belt pulley to the shaft. Rounded the allen drive and wrench. Drilled two holes on opposite sides of allen drive hole. Elongated to make a long slot. Used impact driver to remove screw.

Odor and mold Joel S. • Derry , NH • January 26, 2016
Our washing machine door boot seal was getting moldy and causing odor problems. Cleaning tablets and bleach weren't helping so it was time to be replaced. While I had the top and front off I changed all the hoses that could be collecting soap scum and mold, all other wetted parts were removed and washed. The video on the door boot seal, and inlet valve assembly were extremely helpful in understanding how these parts are removed and reassembled. Although the door boot seal is the most visible...
