The bearing on the dryer drum wore out so bad the ball fell off Thomas J. • Green Bay , WI • October 31, 2016
I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new.

The Tub Seal is an OEM part for Frigidaire washing machines. It is designed to create a water-tight seal between the washing machine tub and the transmission or drive system. This seal prevents water from leaking out during the operation of the washer and protects the mechanical components from water damage.
Symptoms of a failing tub seal include:
- Water leaking from the underside of the washing machine.
- Increased moisture or puddles forming under the machine during use.
- A musty or moldy smell, indicating that water has been seeping and not properly drying.
Causes of a bad tub seal can include aging and wear over time, exposure to harsh detergents that degrade the material of the seal, or mechanical stress from unbalanced loads that can cause the seal to fail. It's important to address these issues promptly to prevent further damage to the washing machine.
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

Noisey bearing on spin cycle Neal G. • Klamath Falls , OR • February 14, 2016
I replaced the spin bearing, tub seal, washer and drive belt since I had it all apart. The video was extremely helpful...I would have tore the whole thing apart trying to figure out how the agitator came off....but it was very simple.

The Idler Pulley is an OEM part for Frigidaire dryers. It helps guide and maintain tension on the dryer drum belt, ensuring the drum rotates smoothly during the drying cycle.
Over time, the idler pulley can wear out due to friction and regular use, or it may become damaged from excessive strain or misalignment. If the idler pulley fails, the dryer drum may not rotate properly, leading to inefficient drying or a complete inability to dry clothes.
Symptoms of a bad Idler Pulley include:
- Squeaking or squealing noises during operation
- The drum not rotating or rotating unevenly
- The belt appearing loose or slipping off the drum
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

Symptoms of a bad agitator hub include:
- Agitator not moving or rotating properly

The agitator was not working John H. • Auburn , NY • October 11, 2016
The agitator stopped functioning and there was a squeaking sound occurring in agitation mode. I found that if I cranked down on the agitator cap, screwing in as hard as I could, the agitator would work briefly, then the cap would loosen and agitator stop moving. I removed the agitator cap, along with which came the agitator stud cap and a rubber washer/seal which was jammed up into the underside of the cap. I lifted out the agitator from the drum and inspected it and the hub best I could....
