The Anti-Tip Bracket Kit is an OEM part for Frigidaire ranges and ovens. This part secures the appliance to the floor or wall, preventing it from tipping over when the oven door is opened or when heavy cookware is placed on an open door or extended rack. The kit typically includes a metal bracket, screws, and installation instructions.
Over time, or during instances of moving or remodeling, the anti-tip bracket may become dislodged or may not be reinstalled correctly, which can compromise the safety of the appliance.
Symptoms of a missing or improperly installed Anti-Tip Bracket include:
- The range or oven tilts forward when pressure is applied to an open door
- The appliance moves more easily than expected when nudged or cleaned
- Visible absence of a bracket at the lower back portion or floor area behind the appliance
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.

This oven control board is responsible for the main functions of the range and oven area. If the oven's control board has begun to malfunction, there will be noticeable changes. The timing mechanisms for cooking and broiling are normally the first functions to quit working properly. Certain burners may work intermittently without warning. If the oven is in continued use while these malfunctions are taking place, be mindful of the cook timer not powering the oven off after the desired baking time. Remember to unplug the oven from its main power source before starting any repairs. Slide the oven from the wall, so the back of the appliance is exposed. Remove the small screws around the main console that anchor it in place. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the cap. After removing the cap, lift it up on the main console, and it should pop right out. Find the control board and unplug it from its wire harness, and remove the screws from the assembly it's housed in. Take the old control board out of the assembly and prepare to install the new part. Repeat these steps in reverse for installation of the replacement. This Frigidaire range oven control board is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from Frigidaire and is sold individually. This part is compatible with Frigidaire, JennAir, and Electrolux appliances.
