This 1/4" compression nut and ring is used to connect the water supply line to the water valve inlet. Can be used anywhere a 1/4" compression fitting is needed.

The part or else the dispenser is not well made. The actuator needs to pivot and drop into a slot after seating the opposite end. But the actuator bar hits a rib on the dispenser that keeps your from pushing the bar in with the other end seated. And that is the only way to put it in. I ended up using a dremel and reworking the rib so that it allowed the bar to pass and seat. The part is also very poorly made. The end of the Actuator bar with the switch is not one piece.
