Genuine Frigidaire part

Part Number: 218169802
This defrost heater mounts at the evaporator and melts frost during the automatic defrost cycle. Replacing a failed heater restores airflow, helps prevent ice buildup, and brings cooling performance and temperature stability back to your refrigerator. What it does:
- Heats the evaporator coil during defrost to clear frost and ice
- Keeps air passages open to maintain even cooling between compartments
- Common failure signs: thick frost on the rear freezer panel or iced-over evaporator
- Resulting symptoms may include poor cooling, a warm fresh food section, or fan noise from ice contact
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; let heavy ice thaw and never use sharp tools on coils or liners
- Remove the freezer's rear panel to access the heater; note wire routing and clip positions
- Transfer any existing brackets/clips and secure the heater in the original location, clear of plastic parts and the drain trough
- Check heater and defrost thermostat continuity before reassembly; ensure all connectors are fully seated

This auger motor powers the ice dispenser, rotating the ice-bin auger to feed cubes or crushed ice to the door chute. A failed motor stops dispensing, leaving ice in the bucket when the paddle or lever is pressed.
- Drives the auger that moves ice from the bin to the dispenser chute
- Restores dispensing when the original motor is seized or burned out
- Common symptoms: no ice through the door, auger doesn't turn, motor only hums or clicks
- Note: Won't resolve issues from a jammed auger, frozen ice bucket, or broken drive parts
What's included: 1 auger motor Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; wear cut-resistant gloves
- Remove the ice bin to access the motor area as designed on your model
- Note wire orientation; transfer any reusable brackets or hardware from the original motor
- Align the drive interface and secure; test both cube and crush functions before reassembly

This is the drive gear for the ice maker module. It transfers motor power to the ejector/harvest mechanism so cubes release consistently; worn or stripped teeth can cause clicking, stalls, or little to no ice production.
- Transfers motor torque to rotate the ejector and complete the harvest cycle
- Replaces a cracked, stripped, or worn gear that prevents proper ice ejection
- Typical symptoms: no ice production, icemaker stuck mid-cycle, clicking or grinding from the module
- Helps restore reliable ice maker cycling
What's included: 1 drive gear Installation notes:
- Unplug the refrigerator before service; turn off the water supply if moving the icemaker
- Remove the icemaker assembly for access; note the original gear's orientation before removal
- Align the new gear with the shaft; do not force it—inspect mating parts for wear
- After reassembly, verify the ejector turns freely; restore power and run a test cycle

Includes: Aluminum strap
- Disconnect power and allow ice to melt before accessing the evaporator
- Use care around sharp fins and fragile refrigerant tubing; do not puncture or deform the coil
- Position the heater per your model's parts diagram and tighten the strap for firm, even contact
- Verify wiring is routed clear of the fan and moving parts before reassembly

I bought this part to fix the basket hanger on my Mom's fridge. It worked perfectly. The only thing to know about the pic of part is it says it is left side hanger and it is but the pic is confusing. I had to print out the pic and turn the pic upside down to make sure it would work on the correct side for the fridge. It is truly the left side but the pic makes it look like it is the right side hanger. Confusing, I know but for it to actually show it is the left side the image of the part...

Here is a replacement shelf support grommet that is used in freezers and refrigerators. The grommets are used to provide stability for the shelves in the refrigerator. If they are broken or missing, the shelves will not sit correctly, and owners won't be able to put anything onto the shelves. A replacement grommet should slide into place, but may need to be gently tapped to ensure a proper seal is made. The shelf support grommet is for use with certain refrigerator models from Frigidaire, Kenmore, Gibson, and Crosley. This is a genuine OEM replacement part that was sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is important to note that the grommets are sold individually. If more than one is needed, owners will need to order multiple.
