Leaking from heater coil Jason S. • Saint Paul , TX • December 02, 2014
When I identified a leak coming from the Heating Coil, I saw that the Heating Element Nut on both sides were corroded and could not hold the heating element tight any more. I ordered replacement parts and the fix was very easy. As I was running the test afterwards, I discovered that there was a leak coming from under the door. I realized then that the reason the heating element nut corroded was because of a leak in the door. I ordered a new door gasket and door seal (that goes at the bottom...

Dishwasher would flash the cl indicator light (close diswasher door) and stopped running (or never begin in the first place) Lisa Marie E. • Denver , CO • May 16, 2015
I lived with the problem for half a year as I jerry-rigged the dishwasher door by pulling it out until it started. I did this by sticking a cleaning brush in it or looping an exercise bungee cord through the handle and attaching it to a 30lbs weight across the room until the CL light went off. Some days it would run with no problem but eventually it "died" and my ingenuity failed to work anymore. I contacted an AppliancePartsPros representative and he recommended I try the latch assemble to fix...

This replacement part is a bushing, and it is intended for use in different types of appliances. This is a genuine replacement part made by Frigidaire. This bushing is typically found in dishwashers but is compatible with other devices as well. The bushings are an important part of many appliances as they help reduce friction inside the machine during the different washing cycles. A new bushing might be needed if the current ones are broken or damaged. It is common that different machinery needs multiple types of bushings. These small but important parts are placed around tubes or poles and are meant to assist during the rotating or sliding mechanisms. Be sure the machine is completely powered off as the area with the bushings is often hot from friction. See the owner's manual for more exact instructions before attempting to replace this part. These bushings are sold separately and are OEM replacement parts. These bushings are compatible with appliances made by Frigidaire.

Dishwasher was leaking Grady M. • Raleigh , NC • August 17, 2014
Replaced Active Dry Vent assembly. The switch on the assembly did not work so the seal was in the open position all the time this caused the leak. Used a stardriver to remove the control panel from the door to get to the assembly.
