Removed and replaced water valve. Easy fix. After repair, had a water leak at bottom of freezer door from an elbow with press-on fittings that had lost its seal. Replaced the elbow and had no other problems. Read more

The part or else the dispenser is not well made. The actuator needs to pivot and drop into a slot after seating the opposite end. But the actuator bar hits a rib on the dispenser that keeps your from pushing the bar in with the other end seated. And that is the only way to put it in. I ended up using a dremel and reworking the rib so that it allowed the bar to pass and seat. The part is also very poorly made. The end of the Actuator bar with the switch is not one piece. Size: 60 inches x 1 1/4 inch x 1/32 inch. Used to hold the ice and water dispenser cover in place.
Replacement piece was $70 and Jenn air didn't supply tape by itself. Appliance Pros recommended a substitute. While it was twice as wide as needed, we applied it, then used utility knife to trim edge. It's been on for a couple days now with lifting evident. Hope it lasts! Read more
