The part or else the dispenser is not well made. The actuator needs to pivot and drop into a slot after seating the opposite end. But the actuator bar hits a rib on the dispenser that keeps your from pushing the bar in with the other end seated. And that is the only way to put it in. Watched the video and ordered the part. Took about one hour with minimal issues. I recommend taking a picture of the motor in the assembly frame before replacing. One issue was reconnecting the power cable to ice-maker (narrow space). I solved this by lubricating female end with olive oil. Worked great. PS: turns out the old fan blade was ok - returning. We suspected the old fan motor was seizing up and not running properly. Came to your site and looked up the parts and then watched the installation video.
