Checked compressor windings - ok. Start relay looked no rattle or burning. Start capacitor seamed ok but hard to check. No 120VC to start relay at any time. Ordered thermistor, and electronic control unit. Figuring it was a bad thermistor not telling the ECU it was warm and to turn on the compressor. Or the ECU was damaged and was not sending the 120v to the compressor. Changed the thermistor first (cheapest part and as Appliance parts pros has a return policy I wanted to start there). ... It was really easy. I found the part number using an online search, ordered the shelf and just inserted the ends into the holes in the freezer walls. Fortunately, I read on a question and answer forum that four end caps were also required. This detail was not listed in the shelf description so knowing this, I was able to order the caps along with the shelf and avoid having to place a second order once I got the shelf and discovered that I needed the end caps.
