This genuine replacement part is a door lock motor switch assembly for ovens. The door lock motor switch assembly is the part that locks the oven door. The reason it would need to be replaced is if the motor or switch has failed and is no longer able to keep the oven door locked and secured when closed. This can happen due to excessive wear and tear over time. To replace this part, start by unplugging the oven. After that, pull the oven away from the wall and proceed to remove the upper back access panel of the range. Once removed, lift the panel off and locate the lock motor and switch assembly. Disconnect the wires from the motor and switch. Once removed, unthread the two mounting screws that hold the assembly in place. Remove the connection rod. Proceed to install the new switch and motor assembly by reattaching the connection rod and refastening the mounting screws. Reattach the wires to the motor and switch and proceed to reinstall the back panel of the oven. This genuine OEM part is sold individually and is compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand ovens.
My appliance is a Whirlpool Accubake Wall Oven, single door. After using the tech sheet and measuring the ohms of the two micro switches that sends signals when the door is shut and locked, determined the lock was faulty. Pretty simple to change, the most difficult part was taking the digital face off of the oven without damaging the control board. TIP: take a picture of the latch switches to ensure you put the correct wires on the correct switch. Read more

This oven door glass assembly replaces a damaged or shattered viewing panel so the door seals and insulates properly while letting you monitor cooking. Restores clarity and helps maintain temperature when the original glass is compromised.
Don't bend the glass even a little! I made the mistake of laying mine on the handle face down when reinstalling the handle because the screws fell out and I bent the glass slightly when tightening the screws. Boom, it shattered in a million pieces. I instantly went to AppliancePartsPros.com to find a replacement. Ordering was easy as usual, shipment arrived quickly, and the door was packed perfectly. I removed the old door from the oven by releasing the hinges and lifting it out. To avoid... Read more
Left side hinge receiver for door hinge. For right side hinge receiver use WP4455606.
I was able to order new hinge receiver brackets for the door. The repair was not that bad. I just had to take off the lower door, take the two trim pieces off the sides and unscrew the screws holding the oven into the face of the cabinet. Then slide it out about halfway and put a step stool under the front to keep it from tipping over. Then it was just a matter of taking off everything around the sides until I could take the brackets off, put the new brackets on, and put everything back... Read more
Right side hinge receiver for door hinge. For left side hinge receiver use WP4455605.
This ground screw secures the appliance's grounding wire or strap to the chassis or terminal area, creating a reliable bonding point. Replace a missing or damaged screw to restore a proper ground connection during installation or service.
New hinges solved the problem! FYI the mounting holes were not tapped for screws, I was able to self tap but glad I bought new screws. Read more
This convection fan blade mounts to the fan motor and circulates hot air during convection cycles. Replacing a bent or damaged blade restores proper airflow, promoting more even temperatures and consistent baking and roasting performance.
This right-hand oven door hinge assembly supports and counterbalances the door so it opens smoothly and closes firmly against the gasket. Replacing a worn hinge restores proper alignment and heat retention for consistent cooking performance.
The door hinge latches were bent, which made it difficult to remove the door and re-insert. The door hinge design was changed from a pin insert to a latch from the previous model. Unfortunately, the latch on the 24 inch oven is thin and easily bent, which is likely the source of the problem. I purchased spare door hinges to facilitate re-installing the oven door should I ever have problems with removing and inserting the door again. Read more
This is the front control panel assembly in a black finish. It restores a clean look and secure mounting for the appliance's user interface area so controls are easy to access and properly supported. What it does:
I replaced the control board without much difficulty, but found original installer had broken all but one of the plastic screw receptacles embedded in the control panel cover. They had originally super-glued the plastic to the wall! Anyway, ordered the plastic control panel frame and stainless cover (our cover had been dented previously). Installation was easy, just know that after you unscrew the four retaining screws (2 on each side of control panel) you must LIFT the panel up off the... Read more
This upper SPST thermostat is a single-pole temperature switch that helps control heating by opening the circuit at a set temperature. It restores proper temperature cycling and acts as an over-temperature safety device. What it does:
I was devastated to hear my wife tell me our Whirlpool double oven was dead after she used the self clean mode. After my research, I found this problem to be more common than expected. I kept seeing reference made to Appliance Parts Pros during my research. I went to the website and found the parts I didnt think anyone had. APP was quick, the price was excellent and when I called their staff I found them to be friendly, knowledgeable and thorough! They had my parts to me in no time and I fixed... Read more
This left-hand oven door hinge assembly restores smooth, spring-assisted door movement and a tight seal. Replacing a worn or bent hinge helps the door close properly, reducing heat loss and improving cooking performance and safety.
This 10-32 terminal block nut fastens wire lugs to the appliance's terminal studs. Replacing a missing, stripped, or corroded nut restores a tight, reliable connection and helps prevent heat damage or intermittent power at the connection.
The oven temperature was low and the heating time excessive. However, the range display showed the requested 400F, even though the oven was really 250F. Because the oven displayed an inaccurate temperature, I ordered an oven sensor, a heating element, and a terminal block. Replacing the heating element fixed the problem. The element I received was the same shape and size, but the supports were not the same. However, I think it must have been a design change after mine was manufactured... Read more

For Stainless Models.
The little flip-over locks on my oven door hinges were bent and broken, preventing me from removing the oven door. It took a little bit of searching to determine that my oven purchased from Ikea was actually built by Whirlpool, and finally what were the correct part numbers for both hinges. Much to the credit of AppliancePartsPros.com, they were the only site that specifically labeled these hinges as Left and Right which helped greatly - even the parts diagrams from Whirlpool were not...
