The front rollers had deteriorated and the refrigerator could not be moved without damaging the floor. Michael G. • Pulaski , TN • January 08, 2022
Replacing the roller assembly corrected the problem. The key to replacing the roller assembly is elevating the refrigerator high enough to remove the roller assembly. (1) Raise and secure the refrigerator, (2) remove the metal bar across the bottom of the refrigerator to provide adequate access to the roller assembly (2-screws), (3) remove the roller assembly adjustment screw, (4) pry the roller pivot pin out, (5) pull the roller assembly toward the front of the refrigerator to remove, (6)...

The ice dispenser bucket auger broke off the front blade of the auger causing it to not dispense the ice Randy M. • Scotts Mills , OR • May 31, 2015
I had to disassemble the ice bucket, there were three screws to remove the cover, one screw and a tension spring that holds the bar in place that controls ice cubes from crushed ice. The hardest part was removing the plastic chamber where the ice crushing blades are attached to the auger, I had to use a couple of butter knives to spread the outer ice bucket away from the inner ice chamber because they had those funky plastic lock-in tabs that lock the ice chamber in place to the ice bucket. I...

This slide-out freezer basket is a removable storage bin that restores organization and easy access to the freezer compartment. Replaces a cracked, broken or missing freezer basket and improves reachability for frozen items. What it does:

What's included: One white slide-out freezer basket. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before attempting any repairs.

GE refrigerator compressor and fans would not run. Nicholas T. • Troy , NY • March 06, 2022
Compressor overload switch broke in my hand when I removed it but replacing it and the start relay did not fix the problem. I troubleshot the control board with the help of videos from Grace Appliance (https://www.youtube.com/c/GraceAppliance/videos) and found fans were not getting power. I ordered an aftermarket control board that offered free returns but it kept cycling off and on every minute. I think it might have been overloaded because the main resistor in the evaporator fan drive...

Ice dispenser motor not working ice auger had a broken blade Ray D. • Conroe , TX • August 30, 2021
Replaced motor and solenoid cube along with dispenser auger. Simply watched video on repair and installation and really had no problem. My refrigerator is so old that one of the holes in the motor did not align properly. Had to drill another hole to mount the motor to the housing, took ten minutes. The ice auger took the longest as I was afraid of breaking the plastic housing trying to get the tabs to release. Had to watch the video twice to make sure I got the blades back in the right order....

Door would not finish closing on its own as it had before (exterior door "fresh food side") Alice H. • Wickenburg , AZ • August 18, 2017
1) By using google to find videos on why the door wouldn't close, I found out I needed new cams, those same videos also showed how to remove and replace the door.
2) Then by googling the fridge model number and the word 'cam', I was able to find the parts.
3) Taking the door off was simple, I needed a phillips head screwdriver to remove the hinge cover, however the screws in the hinge plate were so tight, I needed a side handle socket wrench to loosen them.
4) The door itself is not hard to...
