The video was quite helpful with step by step instructions. I ordered a belt and idler pulley before dismantling assuming they were the issues. Belt was easy and fit fine but I did not realize the idler pulley was secured with a special fastener, push on cap nut, that would be damaged if removed. So I left it in place. Original pulley seemed fine so I reassembled the dryer. Restarted and of course the noise remained. I ordered the push on fastener and also the drum bearing as a precaution. ... Read more
Found the part number and installation instructions online. Ordered the part online through AppliancePartsPros.com. Part arrived within a week. Removed the door from the dryer then removed the face of the door from the rest of the door. The broken part was then easily accessible and replaced. Reattached the door face and reattached the door. Easy job. Read more
