I partially removed the edge on the inside using a butter knife to loosen the plastic catches. I did this very carefully, knowing my model is from 2009 and that plastic becomes brittle in time and I did not want to affect the integrity of the seal when the door closed. I exposed where the screws for the handle were. They were easy to unscrew, but much harder to put back in. Ordered door switches, but didn't solve problem. Sent them back for credit. Ordered thermostat and it solved the problem. Microwave now works fine. The unit is only 7 years old and hope to get another 7 or more out of it. Thanks. Read more
