I bought a replacement turbidity sensor and swapped it out. Very simple and straightforward. However there is one trick to be know. When I pulled out the bad sensor, drain water spilled from the hole and trickled into the motherboard housing! I then had to pull out the board and check it for damage. When I identified a leak coming from the Heating Coil, I saw that the Heating Element Nut on both sides were corroded and could not hold the heating element tight any more. I lived with the problem for half a year as I jerry-rigged the dishwasher door by pulling it out until it started. I did this by sticking a cleaning brush in it or looping an exercise bungee cord through the handle and attaching it to a 30lbs weight across the room until the CL light went off.
