Got out my old manual, which provided me with the needed info. Called your customer service and with their GREAT help from them------- a new burner and burner caps were ordered. This is a double grate that is used on gas cooktops. The purpose of this part is to provide a stable surface for cooking ware to sit while cooking. This part sits on top of the burner.This is a very sturdy and durable part but if it breaks for any reason or begins to wear out, it is easy to replace. The replacement process simply involves lifting out the old double grate and placing the new one in its place. Allow the cooktop time to cool down completely before trying to replace this part.This double grate is sold individually as a replacement part. It is compatible with gas cooktop units that are manufactured by Frigidaire. This part comes directly from the manufacturer.
