This sound damper cushions the refrigerator compressor to reduce vibration and minimize noise for quieter operation. It helps protect the compressor from metal-on-metal contact and dampens normal operating sounds. What it does:
My refrigerator's cooling fan was making a noise. It wasn't loud; in fact, it was barely discernible. However, it was just loud enough to annoy me. The fan blade was hitting the shroud every now and then, creating a subtle, yet annoying sound. I'd tried tightening all the screws back there, and it helped-for a while. The noise came back. After looking at the fan motor, I noticed the bushings; it occurred to me that they might be the culprit. And why not? They were the originals installed at the... Read more
The MWF Bypass is an OEM replacement part for GE refrigerators. Located within the bottom freezer compartment, the metal water filter bypass fitted assembly is responsible for directing filtered or unfiltered water flow to the ice maker and dispenser. This OEM replacement bypass is compatible with GE, Hotpoint, and Profile model refrigerators.
First I ordered a new ice door seal, spring, and crank, figuring the condensation in freezer and door was caused by ice door not sealing. Turns out the solenoid for the ice door was completely rusted and was the primary cause, if it had been replaced early, it would have saved the dispenser board. What then happened was the moisture in the freezer door damaged the control board rendering dispenser controls inoperative as well as the heater around the dispenser. Now the freezer door is dripping... Read more

The Interface Dispenser Assembly is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. This assembly serves as the control panel for your refrigerator's dispenser, allowing you to easily dispense water, ice, and other functions.
A bad interface dispenser assembly can occur due to electrical issues, component failure, or other factors. If you notice symptoms such as unresponsive buttons, dispenser not working, or incorrect display readings, it may be time to replace the interface dispenser assembly.
Symptoms of a bad interface dispenser assembly include:
Restore the function of your GE refrigerator's dispenser by replacing the faulty interface dispenser assembly with this genuine OEM part.
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
The R134 Drier is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. This component plays a critical role in the refrigeration system by removing moisture and contaminants from the refrigerant, ensuring efficient cooling and preventing damage to other parts of the system. It helps maintain the purity and effectiveness of the refrigerant as it cycles through the system.
You should replace the R134 drier if it becomes clogged or damaged. Common causes of a bad drier include wear and tear over time, exposure to moisture, or contamination from other failing components in the refrigeration system.
Symptoms of a bad R134 drier include:
The Paddle Dispenser is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. Located inside the freezer compartment door, this electronic assembly dispenses cubed ice on demand through a motorized steel ice paddle.
Causes of a bad paddle dispenser include freeze damage from leaked water entering electronic components. The motor or gearing may degrade after extended use over time.
Symptoms include:
This GE OEM replacement ensures convenient access to ice at any time. With high-reliability engineering even in cold freezer temperatures, it restores dependable operation for automatic ice retrieval. Suitable for retrofitting some Hotpoint, RCA, and Kenmore freezer doors as well. Keep drinks chilled easily and safely.
I removed the Display Panel and unplugged all the connections from the Panel. I removed the Dispenser Housing Shield along with the Ice Shoot Shield and the Paddle Dispenser. I then removed the Dispenser Switch from the Dispenser Housing Shield, as I suspected that the Dispenser Switch was the problem. I ordered a new Paddle Dispenser as ours had lost the finish from water deposits over time, but also order the Ice Shoot Shield as a piece broke on removal (my fault, I believe). We received...
