By-the-way, I consider your website amongst the very best and easy to use. I appreciate how well your developers and designers created the diagrams/pictures with numbered parts displayed,... I had to disassemble the ice bucket, there were three screws to remove the cover, one screw and a tension spring that holds the bar in place that controls ice cubes from crushed ice. The hardest part was removing the plastic chamber where the ice crushing blades are attached to the auger, I had to use a couple of butter knives to spread the outer ice bucket away from the inner ice chamber because they had those funky plastic lock-in tabs that lock the ice chamber in place to the ice bucket. I... Read more
Replacing the roller assembly corrected the problem. The key to replacing the roller assembly is elevating the refrigerator high enough to remove the roller assembly. (1) Raise and secure the refrigerator, (2) remove the metal bar across the bottom of the refrigerator to provide adequate access to the roller assembly (2-screws), (3) remove the roller assembly adjustment screw, (4) pry the roller pivot pin out, (5) pull the roller assembly toward the front of the refrigerator to remove, (6)... This replacement part is a snack pan slide rail, and it is intended for use in different types of appliances. This is a genuine replacement part made by General Electric. This part is able to hold up other trays and racks in the refrigerator and freezer so that extra shelf space can be utilized. These slide rails can also hold up trays that can support heavy bottles and drinks. A new snack pan slide rail might be needed if the current ones have become stripped and are unable to latch onto the shelving to support it. It is common that these parts can become brittle over time as exposure to low temperature wears down the plastic. Be sure the shelving of the appliance is clear before attempting to replace the slide rail. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This replacement part is compatible with different types of appliances made by General Electric.

Compressor overload switch broke in my hand when I removed it but replacing it and the start relay did not fix the problem. I troubleshot the control board with the help of videos from Grace Appliance (https://www.youtube.com/c/GraceAppliance/videos) and found fans were not getting power. I ordered an aftermarket control board that offered free returns but it kept cycling off and on every minute. I think it might have been overloaded because the main resistor in the evaporator fan drive... Read more
Replaced motor and solenoid cube along with dispenser auger. Simply watched video on repair and installation and really had no problem. My refrigerator is so old that one of the holes in the motor did not align properly. Had to drill another hole to mount the motor to the housing, took ten minutes. The ice auger took the longest as I was afraid of breaking the plastic housing trying to get the tabs to release. Had to watch the video twice to make sure I got the blades back in the right order.... Read more

1) By using google to find videos on why the door wouldn't close, I found out I needed new cams, those same videos also showed how to remove and replace the door. 2) Then by googling the fridge model number and the word 'cam', I was able to find the parts. 3) Taking the door off was simple, I needed a phillips head screwdriver to remove the hinge cover, however the screws in the hinge plate were so tight, I needed a side handle socket wrench to loosen them. 4) The door itself is not hard to...
