The video was quite helpful with step by step instructions. I ordered a belt and idler pulley before dismantling assuming they were the issues. Belt was easy and fit fine but I did not realize the idler pulley was secured with a special fastener, push on cap nut, that would be damaged if removed. So I left it in place. Three screws on back of dryer to open up control area. Note the location of the 5 wires connected. Quarter turn to remove old part. Quarter turn to reinstall new part. Hook up wires to appropriate terminals. Reassemble control area panel. Check for proper operation. Read more
