After noticing that the dishwasher was leaking , I noticed that the hose was split on the knit line. Replaced that with an automotive hose and on further investigation I noticed that a gasket was leaking also. Easy to replace and repair. Also used some dielectric grease. Reassembled and no leakes. Total repair was about $20.00 total. Read more

I decided that the problem was either the control board (the controller) or the front panel, with the front panel being much more likely to be the culprit. The membrane contacts used in the front panel are subject to wear, and I could easily see how wear or contamination could cause the controller to think that a button had been pressed. We just purchased a new home and, although the dishwasher looked in good condition, the control panel was a mess and looked awful! The plastic cover was pulled off and you could see the green computer ribbon behind it and could not read the buttons. I removed and replaced the control panel with the new one I purchased from you. Seal included. This sump housing assembly includes a 31-31.5 millimeter hole for the thermistor. If the hole for the thermistor is 32.17 millimeters you will need to order WP8572618.

Removed the screws,took off old front panel and replaced it with the new panel. Only took about 30 minutes to complete. It took about 15 minutes to find the right size screw driver. Read more
