I removed the old computer, screwed the new one on and reattached the connectors, then plugged in the new touch pad. Getting the old one out was a matter of removing the correct screws for the control panel. Big point: I UNPLUGGED the stove before touching anything, and only plugged it back in after the new computer, touch pad and control panel were reinstalled.
