This hinge receiver secures the refrigerator door hinge to the cabinet frame, keeping the door aligned and closing smoothly. It replaces a worn or damaged receiver to restore proper door fit and operation. What it does:

Secures the hinge pin to the cabinet frame so the door pivots correctly
Restores proper door alignment and prevents sagging or uneven gaps
Helps the door seat and seal fully to maintain internal temperature
Stops clicking, rubbing or loose-feeling hinges caused by a broken receiver

What's included: One hinge receiver. Install notes:

Unplug the appliance or disconnect power before starting work to avoid electrical hazards.
Support the door while removing hinge fasteners to prevent injury or damage.
Use proper hardware and hand tools; do not overtighten fasteners which can strip mounting holes.

The oven door was open and the wife fell onto the door. After that, the door would not close all the way and hung lower than it should. I could not tell if it was the hinge or hinge receiver that was bent so I ordered both. When the parts arrived I removed the door by unlatching the hinge and lifting it off the range. the door has 3 screws on the bottom and two at the top.
