Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Dual burner smaller inner burner was not heating up when selected; by itself or along with the larger burner   Robert V. • Las Vegas , NV • September 24, 2015

I wasn't sure of the problem, but after reading a lot on appliancepartspros.com on my model and symptoms, I narrowed it down to the dual burner selector switch or the Dual element. I didn't have a lot of time to take everything apart to diagnose it, so I ordered both items. The parts came quickly and was competitively priced (Amazon was slightly cheaper, but didn't offer the same return policy). As a typical man, I didn't read the instructions, because I have an electronics and computer... Read more

My son-in-law helped me. He pulled the liner open enough that he could see he just had to tighten up the existing screw on the door handle.. For the liner, we put a new screw in each side and tighted it up. At first we were afraid it was in the hole the screw went into but finally got it to screw in tightly. Back in business!!! Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The convection fan on my ge profile convection wall oven burned out   Doug C. • Staunton , VA • February 18, 2015

The motor hummed but the fan didn't turn. Clearly the brushes were burned out. I ordered a new fan, although I had to talk to a human at ApplianceParts because my model was not listed. The part was a perfect fit. The only problem is determining how to remove the over to reach the back, no instructions anywhere online. But trial and error eventually worked. You absolutely need a nut-driver that fits the hex head screws on the oven to remove panels covering the motor, but a cheap... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You I was having error codes F20 and F34 while using the oven and F34 many times when not in use   Paul D. • Punta Gorda , FL • March 24, 2021

I did some research on my own and then spoke with the “Pros” at Appliance Parts Pros. Both confirmed the main board needed to be changed. The other less likely item was the oven sensor. I changed the sensor first as it was inexpensive. The error codes continued. Subsequently, I then changed the main board which was slightly difficult. When changing 2 screws hold the board in place on each front corner only. Also suggest you take a picture of wiring. I replaced wiring in place from old board to... Read more
