Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Leaking hose upper spray arm and drain hose replacement   Elizabeth D. • Afton , VA • May 19, 2015

Removed dishwasher to replace spray arm pine--I replaced washer on pipe, too, and would recommend doing this just on principal. Removing dishwasher requires disconnecting power, water, and drain line--tools will vary depending on connections. i replaced drain line because original install was not done correctly--hose too short--You could probably do just this w/o pulling unit. All parts arrived very quickly and fit correctly. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You No error codes just not washing like it was supposed to and not cleaning dishes   Paul B. • Elizabeth , CO • September 14, 2015

Ordered the new o-rings for the pump housing and main filter screen unit. Cleaned all water hardness and other debris out of all parts. Main filter and inside parts clogged with water hardness/limescale and other debris. The 3" wide round filter internal was completely clogged with debris and some of the filter holes we crystallized with water limescale. The pump was in good shape but all the filters and parts just needed to be cleaned. Some useful tips on this Magtag Jet Clean... Read more

Lower spray bar had what looked like spaghettis blocking & protruding from holes on top. Upon further inspection found to be some type of fiber. Further, inspection revealed fiber came from rinse arm. Ordered a new spray bar from you, arrived in three days. Clean all including filters/spray bar put all back together ran like new. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The panel looked correct but no cycles would run for more than 5 mins nothing actually started   Richard H. • Renton , WA • February 10, 2016

Opened up the door panel to get at the control board. It had heat damage around the resistors. Replaced it. Trivial job, easy to get to everything. Don't take the old board out until the new board is available, remove wires from the old board, attach them to the new board as you go. T-20 power screwdriver/drill makes it go fast. NOTE: the button panel is temporarily attached to the main board for shipping by a screw. Remove the screw or you will be very confused. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Dishwasher controls would not work   Charles H. • Bellevue , WA • March 07, 2018

Purchased the Electronic Control Board and the Control Panel (was no sure which was bad). Installed the new parts purchased from AppliancePartsPros.com. Installation was easy and the parts fit perfectly. After the installation turned on the unit and it works fine now. Since I could not tell which unit was bad, I used the rule of thumb to replace both since electronics can be tricky and if one component can go bad you can bet the other may also at some point. Did note that the Electronic... Read more
