I had concluded that the igniter was going bad and ordered a new one. I also watched the video on how to replace the ignitor. The video explained that after you removed all the screws to the burner assemblies, you needed to lift the range top and replace the ignitor. I lifted up the door and removed it. Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor. I placed the door on the newspaper upside down. With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim. I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove. I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim.
