We checked the resistance of the sensor and it indicated it was defective. We ordered the part before 2:00 pm and it arrived the next day around 1:00 pm. It took about 15 minutes to change and we were up and running. Read more
I have a 21 yo GE convection/microwave that is well loved. In the past the only repair needed was to replace the door switches. We had moved from the town where the earlier repairs were done, so I was guessing it was the same problem. This was the only company on the internet that carried the parts and were much more reasonable than my new repair person could get them. In they went and now our machine is working again. Thank you. Had to remove old glass shards, and reflector tape. Would recommend pliers. I used a utility knife and gloves. Then removed the screws on the top section of outer glass trim. This allowed me to install the metal handle brackets inside and partially behind the trim piece, before securing to new glass. During this time, I did settle the new piece of glass in the bottom track of the outer trim. I also the installed the new heat. reflector tape to the top inside edge of the door. Had to leave some...
