I removed the screws on the top edge of the oven door to release the front panel to the back panel. I then removed the screws securing the handle in place. I screwed in the new handle (that I received in less than 24 hours from the time I placed the order, I might add!). Screwed the two panels back together and complete! Read more

First, the reader should know that the oven is a GE wall oven, model JKS05P1 and it was 22 years old when I made the repair. I bought the door seal from Appliance Parts Pros so used the directions in the Q&A for this part. I loosened the screws as directed, but the old seal wouldn't budge.
