The 2 year old Samsung overhead unit completely failed. It showed no power - no clock, lights, or anything. My wife wanted to go back to the store to complain and buy a complete new unit. This unit had a 1 year warranty. I thought we could perhaps figure out which component was the cause of the failure and replace it for much less money. We took down the unit and removed its cover. With some test cycles, it appeared that the 'Assy Noise Filter' would spark and the oven would lose power. ... Read more
Ordered new socket assembly. Took bottom panel off microwave. Removed a couple of screws. Replaced old socket with the new socket. Reassembled bottom panel of microwave. Repair complete. Read more
