The oven was so loud, it was hard to talk to someone in the kitchen. We replaced the motor and the fan blade. 1. Turn off power to the oven. 2. Remove the oven doors 3. Remove the cover for the fan. 4. Turn the fan blade nut clockwise to loosen( it's opposite of normal) - Save the nut and the small clip that is behind the fan as you'll need them again. 5. Replaced the control board. The one I received as a spare and installed, had a probe error on the top oven. I called customer service and Ethan sent me a replacement board. I am a satisfied customer. Read more
There are a lot of suggestions online to try and buy yourself time with this error. I tried the index card between the ribbon cable and the pencil eraser I clean the ribbon cable contacts, but the error came back. I disconnected the ribbon cable from the ERC and still got the error, so I knew it was the ERC I needed to deal with.
