I had to remove the microwave from the range and then remove the cover from the microwave to determine the exact problem. After a visual inspection then discharging the high voltage capacitor, I used a meter to test the high voltage diode and fuses. After using the meter to ohm out the magnetron, I removed it from the unit, and seeing that the hole in the end of the magnetron's tube was enlarged and burnt, as if it was arcing, I assumed it was the bad part. After replacing the whole light assembly. The was no power to the lights. Pulled the control panel out and the copper fuse had burnt out. Soldered a new copper fuse line and works great. Read more

From the inside of the microwave door, we unscrewed the screw that was holding the top of the handle. We carefully removed the hard rubber gasket on the inside of the door using a putty knife to pop it out. Once the gasket was pulled away we were able to completely remove the old handle and install the new one. It took about 15 minutes. It would have been faster if we knew we could just pull out the gasket around the door. We weren't sure what was holding it in place and didn't want to break it. Read more

Super easy! On the inside of the door there is a thin/narrow panel that runs all the way around; used butter knife to gently pop off and that exposed the screws. Installed the new handle, popped panel back on and voila! Done. Would like to add that I searched the internet looking for this part and your site had the best prices. Shipping was super fast!
