Microwave not heating? This magnetron generates microwave energy to cook food. Moderate DIY repair—requires disassembly and careful handling of parts.
Printed out and followed the online written instructions and referred to the video several times. After tilting the front down, lifting the back up and off of the wall bracket required both of us. Not overly heavy, just awkward. I ordered the replacement motor. I unplugged the microwave. Then I simply removed the turntable spindle by lifting it up off the motor from inside the microwave. Next, I removed the 7 screws holing the bottom of the microwave in place. I lowered the bottom of the microwave, giving me access to the motor.
