This electronic main control board manages and times the appliance's functions, restoring proper cycle control and user-interface operation when the original board fails. Replace a faulty board to return consistent, reliable appliance control. What it does:
This ST4-20 TBHC screw secures panels and components in appliances where a small, thread-forming fastener is required. It replaces stripped or missing screws to restore safe, stable assembly and alignment. What it does:
The Control Board is an OEM part for GE microwaves. This board is responsible for controlling the various heating elements, fans and sensors within the microwave to make sure you have proper and safe operation. It allows the microwave to function, including setting time/power levels and relaying information from the temperature and humidity sensors.
Causes of a bad control board can include failure due to prolonged exposure to steam and moisture inside the microwave, defects from manufacture, or damage due to impact or mishandling.
Symptoms of a bad control board include:
This GE replacement part is compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
Replaced the board. Very easy but rather expensive. Read more
The Black Door is an OEM part for GE microwaves. As the main barrier between the microwave cavity and exterior, the door is subject to constant exposure and wear.
Causes for a bad door can include dents, scratches or other surface damage accumulated over time and use. The door seal may deteriorate, failing to provide an adequate barrier between the radiation and the exterior. Hinges or latches may become loose or fail to function properly.
Symptoms of a bad door include:
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
I removed one screw from the vent cover on front top of the microwave and removed the cover. This is necessary in order to replace the door. I then lifted the door off of the hinges and then reversed the process. I opted to replace the entire door because it was cheaper than replacing the handle, plus it took less time. Read more
The Turntable Motor is an OEM part for GE microwaves. It is responsible for rotating the glass turntable plate during cooking, ensuring food is evenly heated throughout the microwave cavity.
Symptoms of a bad turntable motor include:
Causes can be normal wear and tear over time from continuous use, failure of electronic components in the motor, or damage from heavy loads or impact. This GE replacement motor restores even cooking performance.
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models. Replace yours today before a minor problem becomes a major repair bill. Continued use without a properly functioning turntable can damage other microwave components.
I ordered the replacement motor. I unplugged the microwave. Then I simply removed the turntable spindle by lifting it up off the motor from inside the microwave. Next, I removed the 7 screws holing the bottom of the microwave in place. I lowered the bottom of the microwave, giving me access to the motor. I unplugged the two wires connected to the motor, removed the 2 screws holding the motor in place, then put the new motor in place and reversed the steps to complete the job. Read more
The Turntable Shaft is an OEM part for GE built-in and over-the-range microwaves. It acts as the central hub on which the turntable platter smoothly rotates during the cooking cycle.
Causes of a problematic shaft can include wear from prolonged use creating play or friction in rotational movement. Debris intrusion into the central bearing assembly can also affect smooth operation over time.
Symptoms of a bad shaft include:
This GE replacement shaft ensures even heating by allowing for uniform distribution of microwave energy throughout cooking. Compatible with GE Profile, Hotpoint, and select Kenmore units, it restores reliable functionality before further troubles develop.
I ordered the cover, fan and clip to hold the cover in place at the top of the microwave. Took me less than 3 minutes to fix. Very easy and the parts dept at AppliancePartsPro are excellent. Read more
The Vent Grille is an OEM replacement part for GE microwaves. It covers and protects the vent opening of your microwave, ensuring proper airflow and ventilation during cooking. It prevents dust, debris, and other particles from entering the vent, keeping it clean.
Symptoms of a faulty vent grille include:
A bad vent grille can occur due to regular wear and tear, accidental damage, or improper cleaning. If you notice signs of damage such as cracks, discoloration, or a loose fit, it may be time to replace the worn-out or damaged vent grille with this genuine OEM part.
Parts identified, ordered, received, installed. Order filled in a very timely manner and delivered within the estimated time frame. Very timely notification of status of order throughout the process. Read more
The Control Panel Assembly is an OEM part designed for GE microwaves. As one of the main interfaces of the microwave, this white control panel assembly houses the electronic controls and touchpad membrane that allows users to operate the appliance.
Causes of a bad control panel assembly could include exposure to spills or moisture that damage electronic components over time. It may also become worn out from frequent use of the touch controls and buttons.
Symptoms of a bad control panel assembly include:
I changed worn latch door and the spring as well. After I changed the fuse. Read more
This damper is the oven vent assembly that controls airflow and venting during cooking, helping the oven purge steam and maintain consistent temperatures. Replacing a faulty damper restores proper vent operation and helps improve cooking performance. What it does:
This ventilation motor drives the exhaust/vent fan that helps move air through the appliance, restoring proper airflow and helping reduce heat and odors. Designed as a direct replacement to restore ventilation performance. What it does:
This stainless steel outer oven door assembly replaces a damaged or worn exterior door to restore appearance and sealing. It provides a finished stainless look and a proper closure for safe, efficient oven operation. What it does:
This control mounting panel secures the appliance control/console assembly, providing a stable mounting surface that helps keep buttons, switches, and electronics aligned for reliable operation and easier repairs. What it does:
The Capacitor is an OEM part for GE microwaves. It is an electronic component within the microwave's high voltage circuitry. The capacitor works to store and deliver high-voltage electrical energy from the main control board to the magnetron tube in short, powerful bursts required for microwave cooking.
Causes of failure can be due to natural breakdown of the capacitive material over time and use. Capacitors have a limited lifespan that is greatly reduced if subjected to heat, moisture or electrical surges.
Symptoms of a bad capacitor include:
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
This control panel overlay replaces the labeled face on a range/oven control panel to restore legible buttons and a clean appearance. It protects the underlying control surface and helps prevent wear-related mis-reads. What it does:
