The Run Capacitor is an OEM part for Frigidaire refrigerators. It helps maintain a consistent electrical current to the compressor, ensuring efficient operation and optimal cooling performance.
Causes of a bad run capacitor can include electrical surges, prolonged use leading to wear and tear, or physical damage. A failing capacitor can lead to the compressor running inefficiently or not at all, affecting the refrigerator's ability to maintain the desired temperature.
Symptoms of a bad run capacitor include:
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
The Gasket is an OEM part for Frigidaire freezers. It creates an airtight seal around the freezer door, preventing warm air from entering and cold air from escaping. Gasket and liner arrived as planned. Clips were a day later. Used "hog ring" pliers to remove the clips, worked great. This is a chest freezer, so install the hinge side first. Read more
