The metal insulation strip is held to the frame with built-in clip, and this retainer and screw. I decided to replace the whole thing. It now looks brand new. One trick - buy a ratchet set to remove the screw which is in pretty tight, or remove the door. The ratchet method works. Put a drop of oil on the new screw. I'm no repair expert, but this looked like a really easy job, but it wasn't. It took about 1.5 hours. You have to remove the oven from the wall to do the job. After you remove the back panel it's pretty self explanatory. I had some difficulty getting the back panel to fit properly. Patience and persistence. I suggest taking a photo of the panel before you remove it to help. In the end it's all together and working fine. Read more
