I opened the front cover (breaking the spear that holds it in place on the right hand side), easily removed the defective reservoir and replaced it with the new one. I also replaced the front cover with a new cover to make up for the broken spear. Took less than 10 minutes.

I received the parts and thanks to one of your assistants I received a service manual for my LG fridge - which I could not get from going to LG home site - they just kept wanting to send out a repair person - I am single older woman on a single income - not a bill I wanted to pay 80.00 just for a visit - and I was directed to a video by the assistant

I disconnected the power cable. I removed the 2 screws holding the display case to the fridge and then disconnected the wire harnesses (1 for the front display, and 1 for the light bulbs). Then I re-attached the wire harnesses in reverse order and screw back the 2 screws holding the display case. looks like new again.
