• Little to no heat when broiling

When I ordered the correct part from Appliance Parts Pro and, here's the big takeaway, I watched the accompanying video. With this repair there were 4 connectors coming thru 2 openings of the rear oven wall. In the video it advised to tie a twist tie around each so they couldn't slip back into the rear panel. If they did it would have required pulling the oven out, removing the back and guiding the connectors back thru the rear wall openings. TWIST TIES...Wise words!!!! Did as instructed and... Read more

The first thing I did was call appliance pros. The tec told me it was a good chance it was the thermostat. He told how to test it with my ohm meter and what range it should be in. I pulled it out and tested it, which was out of the limits he told me it should be in. So I ordered the part. When it arrived in two days, I installed it. The oven now works perfect. Ordered switch interlock, after reading a question you responded to from a customer whose oven had the same symptoms as I did - clicking and not being able to lock. I love your website and all the help you provide. So far I fixed washer, dishwasher and now range. I cleaned my oven last night!! This is the first time I did not have a video to follow but the thing to do is take a picture of the part needing replacement PRIOR to taking it apart. I think I found my calling - LOL! Read more
