I had a productive chat with AppliancePartPros, who identified the part she thought we needed, and she was right. The door arrived within 3 or 4 days, but initially we were concerned the replacement job would be risky, and wanted to put it off. Then we looked at the new door and the job became less daunting. Your schematic was helpful, but not identical to our door assembly.
