The first thing I did was call appliance pros. The tec told me it was a good chance it was the thermostat. He told how to test it with my ohm meter and what range it should be in. I pulled it out and tested it, which was out of the limits he told me it should be in. So I ordered the part. When it arrived in two days, I installed it. The oven now works perfect. Removal and replacement were easy. I did have some issues figuring out which replacement switch was correct (I didn't access the switch first). Eventually deciding that I had the correct model's switches and that since it was the largest burner. It had to be the highest watt switch. Read more

We ordered the parts from Appliance Parts Pros...they arrived just as scheduled. Hubby installed the two switches, but when he tightened down a bit too much and shattered the glass on the touch panel, which is discontinued from the manufacturer, so we'll be out buying a new range anyways!
