This main wire harness provides the factory-style wiring that links the control and major components, restoring reliable electrical connections and stable operation. Designed as a direct replacement to help fix wiring faults and intermittent component issues. What it does:
- Routes power and signal connections between the control board and appliance components.
- Replaces damaged, chafed or corroded wiring that can cause intermittent operation or component failures.
- Helps resolve symptoms such as components not responding, intermittent cycles, or electrical arcing at connectors.
- Maintains correct connector fit and wiring order to preserve original function and safety.
What's included: One main wire harness as pictured and specified by the OEM part number. Install notes:
- Disconnect all power (unplug or switch off breaker) before starting any repair.
- Compare the new harness to the old harness and follow the appliance wiring diagram for routing and connector locations.
- Handle connectors carefully; press release tabs fully to avoid breaking locking clips.
- If wiring shows heat damage or connector melting, inspect adjacent components and replace damaged parts rather than repairing with tape or splices.

The Alumilastic Cement is an OEM part for Whirlpool appliances, typically used in refrigerators and freezers. It serves as a thermal mastic compound, designed to provide a secure and heat-conductive bond between various components, such as evaporator coils and the interior walls of the appliance.
Causes of a bad alumilastic cement can include drying out, cracking, or losing its adhesive properties over time. This can occur due to age, exposure to temperature fluctuations, or improper application. When the cement fails, it can lead to poor thermal conductivity and decreased cooling efficiency.
Symptoms of a bad alumilastic cement include:
- Reduced cooling performance
- Unusual noises from the cooling system
- Components becoming loose or detaching
- Increased energy consumption
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
